Hi there! My name is Zsofia Mendly-Zambo, PhD I am an experienced policy researcher specializing in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and both qualitative and quantitative research. I have over a decade of experience conducting research that informs evidence-based decision-making in agriculture, food systems, and health systems across academic, public, and non-profit sectors.

My research is interdisciplinary, drawing from the fields of health sciences and policy, as well as agriculture and food systems. My areas of specialization include health equity, farmer mental health, food security and food sovereignty.

I’ve collaborated with diverse institutions and organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Institute at the University of the Fraser Valley, the Center for Studies of Sensory Impairment, Aging and Metabolism in Guatemala, and the National Farmers Union. Additionally, I have extensive experience teaching in both academic and community settings.
