Hi there! My name is Zsofia Mendly-Zambo, I am a researcher and PhD Candidate in Health Policy and Equity at the school of Health Policy and Management at York University.

My research is interdisciplinary, drawing from the fields of health sciences and policy, as well as agriculture and food systems. My areas of specialization include health equity, farmer mental health, food security and food sovereignty.

I have more than ten years of research and teaching experience, working with a variety of institutions and organizations including the Food and Agriculture Institute at the University of the Fraser Valley, the Center for Studies of Sensory Impairment Aging and Metabolism in Guatemala, and the National Farmers Union. I have taught in both academic and community settings as a course director, teaching assistant and facilitator.
